About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary point of contact for human resources, weekly payroll, timekeeping, and employee relations
- Initiate, review, and accurately process weekly hourly payroll
- Monitor employee timekeeping and assist team members with ADP self-service
- Process onboarding and orientation for all new hires
- Maintain strictly confidential employee personnel records
- Analyze employee attendance and prepare corrective action documents when necessary
- Act as a resource for employees regarding benefits, policies, and general HR inquiries
- Assist with employee performance reviews and manage evaluations through the approval work-flow
- Collaborate with team members throughout the organization
- Manage relationships with outside vendors
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or equivalent
- Strong computer literacy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Ability to easily adapt to modern digital HR software
- High level of accuracy, organization, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and problem-solve
- Proven ability to handle sensitive information and maintain strict confidentiality
- Local to the Winchester area
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of prior experience in Human Resources, Payroll, or office administration is preferred
- Conversational bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred
- Prior experience utilizing ADP / Workforce Now cloud HR/Payroll applications is preferred
- Familiarity with workplace safety reporting, light-duty documentation, or Workers' Compensation administration in a manufacturing setting is preferred
- Active HR Certification (SHRM-CP, aPHR, or PHR) is a plus
- Schedule availability Monday to Friday, typically 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
