About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Query and gather datasets using Excel, MS SQL, and Google BigQuery to support data analytics initiatives
Learn Stirista's data products and services and communicate insights to internal teams
Compile and fulfill data requests to help expand product offerings
Update databases and assist with data distribution across platforms
Support file transfers using FTP/sFTP
Formulate audience data proposals, build taxonomies, and map datasets
Create data visualizations and dashboard reports using Tableau
Observe daily data operations and contribute ideas to optimize internal best practices, processes, and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need

Currently enrolled as a full-time or part-time college or university student pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related technical field
Must reside in or be enrolled in Texas, Florida, New York, or Massachusetts
Available to commit to a minimum of 24 hours per week for the duration of the internship (Summer 2027)
Fundamental knowledge of or coursework experience with MS SQL, Google BigQuery, or relational databases
Basic familiarity with Excel, Google Sheets, and data visualization tools such as Tableau
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills for presenting data findings
High level of initiative, detail orientation, adaptability, and eagerness to learn data operations
Proficiency using a personal computer (PC) and communication tools including email, web tools, and Google Suite
Must adhere to the company's hybrid work policy
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
