About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own integrated project plans covering scope, schedule, cost, and dependencies
  • Manage critical path and scenario planning
  • Own budgets and forecasts; track burn, perform variance analysis, and re-baseline when needed
  • Support statements of work and change management
  • Own risk mitigation and issue resolution
  • Own change control and document scope, cost, and timeline impacts
  • Drive buy-in across client IT, data, and business stakeholders
  • Influence timelines and challenge client IT defaults
  • Select and tailor Stitch’s SEW delivery methodology based on project context, client maturity, and team capability
  • Design project dashboards and automated reporting
  • Produce executive updates that surface risk
  • Manage cross-team dependencies across client IT, data engineering, security, and vendors
  • Enforce governance at the project level
  • Write executive summaries, decision memos, steering committee decks, and detailed delivery plans
  • Partner with Databricks practice leadership to define repeatable PM standards
  • Manage time to meet billable targets of 36+ hours per week
  • Travel up to 20% for client meetings, workshops, and onsite engagements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • PM tool mastery: setup, reporting, and hygiene in ClickUp, MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or equivalent
  • Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodology selection and tailoring
  • Budget ownership: forecasting, variance analysis, EAC, and burn tracking
  • RAID ownership: proactive risk modeling, mitigation planning, and structured issue surfacing
  • Change control: scope boundaries, requirements traceability, and assumption documentation
  • 2–5 years delivering data platform, data integration, or enterprise IT projects, such as Databricks, Snowflake, cloud data warehouses, or data pipelines
  • Experience implementing or driving net new solutions on the IT side of client ecosystems
  • At least one full-lifecycle implementation led or co-led from discovery through launch
  • Proven ability to influence IT teams without direct authority
  • Passion for leveraging AI for efficient documentation, such as Gemini or Claude
  • Documentation mastery: project charters, integrated plans, dependency maps, risk registers, go/no-go briefs, and closure reports
  • Governance knowledge: stage gates, compliance checklists, audit logs, and PMO standards
  • 5–9 years of project management consulting experience or applicable experience
  • 2–5 years of IT or data consulting experience or applicable experience
  • Consulting or agency background preferred
  • Marketing technology familiarity, such as Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe, or Oracle, is a plus
  • PM certifications such as PMP, SAFe, Scrum Master, or equivalent are a plus
  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets, vendors, and cross-functional teams
  • Client-facing experience within an agency or consultancy required
  • Knowledge of AI code editors such as Cursor is a plus
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
