About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build use-case prioritization frameworks using quantitative scoring models weighing business value, technical feasibility, and measurable customer impact
- Develop journey governance frameworks, testing roadmaps, and maturity assessments
- Design marketing analytics and KPI architectures connecting campaign metrics to business outcomes
- Develop experimentation frameworks and performance narratives for data-backed investment decisions
- Leverage first-party data, behavioral signals, and CDP/CRM data for audience segmentation, lifecycle stage definitions, and personalization frameworks
- Synthesize performance data from platforms such as Braze into actionable strategic recommendations
- Lead end-to-end journey mapping from discovery workshops through current-state and future-state maps
- Define personas, moments of truth, channel touchpoints, and data signals to identify experience gaps and prioritize improvements
- Partner with technology vendors including Braze, Segment, and Databricks
- Lead sessions with Client Partners and Solution Architects to transform martech investments into consumption models aligned with client goals
- Build and present executive-ready business cases for martech investments, including ROI models, value realization roadmaps, and strategic narratives
- Advise VP and C-level stakeholders and identify opportunities for additional Stitch capabilities
- Participate in QBRs and EBRs to sequence journey investments, technology enablers, and capability-building milestones
- Contribute reusable frameworks, assessment tools, and workshop guides to Stitch’s internal methodology
- Author or contribute to thought leadership through LinkedIn, webinars, and Braze Events
- Manage time to meet billable targets of 36+ hours per week
- Travel up to 20% for client meetings, workshops, and onsite engagements
- Mentor and provide feedback to other Marketing Strategists
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong familiarity with at least one analytics or BI platform—Databricks, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent—and experience with enterprise martech platforms such as Braze or Segment
- Independently builds analysis from dashboards, reports, and experiment results; makes recommendations without guidance
- Strong analytical foundation—comfortable working with large datasets, building performance models, and deriving strategy from data
- Designs experimentation frameworks tied to business outcomes, not just engagement metrics
- Exceptional communicator with the ability to synthesize complexity into executive-level storytelling
- Specialized strategic experience within a category relevant to work at Stitch, such as loyalty strategy, data strategy, or industry-specific strategy experience (QSR, Retail, Media & Communications, etc.)
- Ability to translate data and strategic complexity into actionable business language
- Ability to build relationships with C-suite, project leads, and technical teams
- Ability to present recommendations with rationale and tradeoffs
- Ability to manage strategic scope confidently
- Ownership of outcomes and ability to lead independently
- Ability to mentor and provide feedback to other Marketing Strategists
- 7+ years of experience in data-driven marketing strategy, CRM, martech consulting, or digital transformation roles
- Demonstrated track record building and presenting multi-year martech roadmaps to senior stakeholders
- Experience facilitating executive discovery workshops, business prioritization sessions, and strategic planning engagements
- Client-facing experience within an agency or consultancy required
- Net new platform implementation experience preferred
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future
