About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and evolve automated, reliable, and scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines
- Participate in migrating CRM pipelines to a modern Databricks-based architecture
- Model and provide data for segmentation and personalization across analytical layers
- Document data and ensure appropriate frequency and latency for batch loads and near-real-time use cases
- Define and monitor data contracts, SLAs, owners, and quality criteria
- Prevent and resolve failures affecting campaigns and analytics
- Build monitoring, telemetry, and proactive alerts
- Integrate the data environment with automation and engagement platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Amplitude
- Support the maintenance of customer journeys and the cleanup of workflows
- Optimize processing performance and costs
- Document solutions, support colleagues, and contribute to best practices and the team's growth
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proficiency in SQL (modeling, procedures, DML, DDL, and pipelines) and Python
- Experience with cloud data platforms and data lake/lakehouse architectures
- Experience orchestrating pipelines using Airflow, Databricks Workflows, or equivalent tools
- Software engineering best practices, including Git version control, testing, code reviews, and documentation
- Understanding of data quality, governance, and observability, including contracts, monitoring, and alerts
- Familiarity with CRM and engagement platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Amplitude (preferred)
- Knowledge of customer segmentation and CDP concepts (preferred)
- Knowledge of the payments market and financial products (preferred)
