About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead data collection and support the team’s accounting close process
Create and maintain data pipelines and automations, ensuring quality and observability through monitoring and testing
Collect data, identify sources, and ensure information integrity
Conduct intermediate to advanced analyses, combining sources to identify anomalies, answer business questions, and generate insights
Develop and optimize interactive dashboards and reports, proposing metrics and visualizations
Identify financial inconsistencies and incorrect flows in databases such as the Ledger, investigate root causes, and coordinate corrective actions
Support internal and external audits by structuring datasets and evidence
Collaborate with accounting, product, regulatory, and other teams, proposing analytical solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Advanced SQL: complex queries, query optimization, window functions, and stored procedures
Experience creating and maintaining dashboards and reports in BI tools (Looker, Power BI, or similar)
Knowledge of data modeling for BI (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema)
Fluency in at least one programming language, such as Python, with the ability to optimize scripts or pipelines
Experience with data transformation processes (ETL/ELT) and pipeline quality and observability practices
Familiarity with using the terminal to interact with tools and languages, such as gcloud
Bachelor’s degree completed
At least 3 years of experience in Data and Metrics
Advanced analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
Strong communication skills and the ability to present results clearly to technical and business audiences
Preferred: experience in fintech, banking, or financial markets; BigQuery, Databricks, or Google Apps Script; applied statistics; Git; accounting and regulatory topics
