About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain new features
- Develop systems that are critical to the company’s operations
- Monitor system performance and the implementation of system changes
- Document implemented changes
- Create and maintain production systems with a focus on performance, scalability, security, availability, reliability, resilience, and integration with the application ecosystem
- Identify gaps in architecture and the development process and propose solutions
- Conduct code and documentation inspections
- Implement automated tests
- Collaborate with the team through code reviews
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ability to identify gaps in architecture and the development process and propose solutions
- Ability to conduct code and documentation inspections
- Experience implementing automated tests
- Experience developing software in Go
- Knowledge of relational databases, such as PostgreSQL and MySQL
- Knowledge of microservices architecture
- Ability to collaborate with the team through code reviews, highlighting best practices and potential improvements
