About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Create Generative AI and Machine Learning solutions for conversational products using WhatsApp and Twilio
Directly contribute to prompt engineering, software engineering, data analysis, and model development
Work in an agile, metrics-driven environment with experiments and short validation cycles
Define, design, implement, and evolve machine learning models and pipelines in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
Train, fine-tune, test, and deploy models
Conduct quantitative analyses and present results
Document and communicate data-driven insights

Requirements

What you’ll need

Extensive experience with Python, designing and experimenting with ML models
Conduct consistent and clear quantitative analyses, from problem definition through presentation of results
Document and communicate data-driven insights to colleagues from diverse backgrounds
Participate in rapid iteration cycles involving model training/fine-tuning, testing, and deployment
Basic knowledge of LLMs and prompt engineering
Knowledge of NLP, information retrieval, and optimization techniques
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to define, design, implement, and evolve machine learning models and pipelines
Availability to work in a hybrid model in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina
Preferred qualifications: experience integrating Generative AI into production systems; strong software engineering practices; CI/CD deployment workflows; basic knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure; experience building APIs involving database connectivity; experience with MLOps tools such as Databricks, Snowflake, or SageMaker
