About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Help Störtebekker grow its social media channels from 350,000 to 1 million followers.
- Contribute to building a new content playbook.
- Monitor relevant trends and formats on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube and bring concrete ideas to the table every week.
- Develop ideas and scripts for short-form videos and implement your own formats from the initial concept through to the final post.
- Support community management and strike the right tone with humor and conviction.
- Analyze successful brands and competitors and derive transferable approaches.
- Evaluate content performance weekly, identify patterns, and define the next tests.
- Work closely with community management, the video agency, and graphic designers.
- Test and launch your own formats and make a measurable contribution to reach and follower growth.
Requirements
What you’ll need- You are studying marketing, communications, media, business, or a related field—ideally in the later stages of your degree.
- Strong interest in social media and current trends, especially on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Ability to identify relevant trends and formats and develop your own creative ideas from them.
- Affinity for numbers and an analytical approach to managing social media based on performance data.
- Fluent German (at least C1 level).
- Having your own social media account is a plus.
- Initial experience with editing and design tools such as CapCut or Canva is a plus.
