About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Enter high volumes of AP and AR invoices, payments, and receipts into ERPNext to a daily cut-off
- Maintain accurate, de-duplicated supplier and customer master data and ledgers
- Process expense claims and per diems against policy
- Digitise and file supporting documentation for traceability
- Keep Egypt and KSA entities' books cleanly separated
- Perform daily bank entry and monthly bank reconciliations across all accounts
- Operate bank portals for payment upload, approval routing, and status tracking
- Reconcile supplier statements and clean up aged AP and AR balances
- Prepare Egyptian VAT and withholding tax records for the external tax agent
- Support intercompany recharges between Egypt and KSA, including the 50% cost recharge
- Build and maintain Excel schedules for monthly close
- Prepare recurring management reports on project costs, resource utilisation, and AP/AR ageing
- Draft budget-versus-actual variance commentary at cost-centre level
- Support audits and external requests with clean, referenced workings
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2–3 years post-graduation experience in accounting or finance, in a role with real transactional ownership
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
- Demonstrated accuracy and throughput on high-volume data entry
- Sound double-entry accounting grounding; ability to explain the journal behind a transaction and identify a misposting
- Excel proficiency to reconciliation standard, including lookups, pivots, SUMIFS, text-to-columns, and structured cleaning of raw system exports
- Arabic native
- English written and spoken to business standard, sufficient for reporting to Riyadh
- 2–3 years in a management consultancy or professional services firm preferred
- ERPNext experience, or comparable ERP experience with ability to learn a new system quickly
- Exposure to a multi-entity or cross-border group, particularly an Egypt–GCC structure
- Working familiarity with Egyptian VAT and withholding tax mechanics
- Part-qualified or actively studying ACCA, CMA or equivalent
