About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Optimize core enterprise cloud applications, including messaging, storage, identity management, governance, and collaboration tools
  • Automate business processes and IT workflows using APIs and iPaaS tools
  • Partner with IT leadership and security teams to secure endpoints using NIST or similar frameworks
  • Perform regular user access audits
  • Implement data privacy standard processes with legal and security teams
  • Evaluate and recommend data loss prevention and disaster recovery tools
  • Lead and automate laptop patching for vulnerability management
  • Provide Tier 2 IT incident support and mentor junior team members
  • Maintain architecture diagrams, business process flows, and other documentation
  • Help define and implement the team’s technical vision

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Substantial, hands-on experience implementing, managing, and customizing corporate applications such as Google Workspace, Slack, JIRA, Notion, and Linear
  • Proficiency with Okta, JAMF, and InTune
  • Experience with integration platforms such as Okta Workflows, Tray.ai, Workato, Boomi, or Zapier
  • Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and industry-standard integration practices
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Proficiency with Google Apps Script, GAM, Python, Java, PHP, or other scripting languages
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals and TCP/IP, DNS, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to create clear visual artifacts
  • Experience improving Okta authorization and entitlement models
  • Experience reviewing and improving GitHub/engineering platform access
  • Experience defining granular business application access patterns
  • RPA experience is a plus
  • AI tools implementation experience is a plus
  • Experience scaling IT in a hyper-growth startup is a plus
