About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools
- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
- Define, develop, and execute disaster recovery tests
- Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and reduce human intervention time
- Maintain onsite and cloud-hosted IT infrastructure across multiple geographic regions
- Work within the IT Ops team from the St Pierre office
Requirements
What you’ll need- Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
- Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments
- Knowledge of best practice regarding overall domain security
- Must have a strong understanding of current technology
- Some experience with Microsoft Intune
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position
- Exposure to setting up and maintaining DNS
- Knowledge of setting up and maintaining policies in Azure
- Setting up and executing DR tests
- Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls
- Exposure to S2S VPN connectivity
