Perform diversified mechanical, electrical, and other duties for the preparation or repair of new and existing machinery
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on a variety of plant machinery
Troubleshoot, identify problems, and repair various types of plant machinery
Maintain company grounds inside and outside the plant
Follow the maintenance schedule in a timely manner
Maintain and upgrade the maintenance library as necessary
Perform other duties as assigned or required

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School diploma or General Education (GED) or 3 years related experience
Must be able to perform preventive maintenance elevated in excess of 25 feet
Basic computer knowledge
Carpentry, welding, and mechanical experience
Ability to work with other Maintenance Technicians
Ability to read and understand English instructions
Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers and fractions
Ability to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds
Ability to work around moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, vibration, and high places
