About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Organize cross-functional activities and coordinate project deliverables, schedules, and budgets
Manage and direct proposals, project initiation, execution/control, and closeout for planning, Environmental Impact Statements, design, and construction projects
Manage project budgets, extra work requests, and invoicing
Lead project-specific marketing, proposal preparation, and presentations
Plan complete project execution and develop the project manual
Schedule and monitor manpower requirements against project budget and spending performance
Manage project scope, schedule, cost, cash flow, quality, communications, coordination, manpower, resources, procurement, and risk
Establish contractor-client liaison networks and communicate project planning, start dates, and work and budget progress
Monitor projects from initiation through delivery, including project manpower development and updates
Form and coordinate project work teams
Submit documents to Federal, state, and local authorities for code compliance and permit applications
Hold project progress meetings to review contract terms, conditions, and specifications
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and quality procedures
Select, supervise, develop, and evaluate personnel as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architectural, Construction Management or similar designation
Minimum 7 years of construction and/or project management experience
Proven experience operating in a project management or leadership capacity
Ability to work independently and effectively in field environments
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of current technologies and tools used in project delivery
This position is contingent upon client approval
Experience managing construction in active/operational airport environments
