About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and grow the central and western Pennsylvania CM&I practice
  • Develop technical and cost proposals
  • Lead a team of resident engineers, construction inspectors, and on-site teams
  • Promote and enforce a culture of safety and provide guidance to field teams
  • Participate in executive-level project meetings with clients
  • Confirm that document control measures and communication protocols are properly implemented
  • Develop and monitor KPIs to track project performance, risk, and trends
  • Forecast staffing levels to support construction oversight
  • Develop and provide long-term training for CM&I personnel
  • Manage highway, bridge, and rail CM&I projects
  • Support project-finance evaluation, project-risk assessment, client-agreement review, and subconsultant-contract preparation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil, structural engineering or construction management
  • Minimum 10 years of project/construction management experience on transportation projects
  • Field experience on complex bridges, highway reconstruction, and rail projects
  • Licensed professional engineer in Pennsylvania
  • Experience with business development and preparing technical and cost proposals
  • Possess strong written and oral communication skills and ability to multi-task
  • Construction management software experience (PennDOT PPCC, Kahua, CapEx, FACS, Site Manager, Buzzsaw, etc.)
  • Be familiar with PennDOT and other client training requirements
  • Possess OSHA 30 or ability to obtain
