About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead a portfolio of client-facing implementation projects
  • Define business requirements for new products and regulations
  • Support clients with data mapping to the FIRE data schema
  • Serve as subject matter expert for one family of regulatory reports
  • Monitor regulatory changes and liaise with clients and industry experts
  • Provide subject matter expertise in constructing and updating regulatory returns with Lead Engineers
  • Support the Customer Success team with specialist input to client queries under BAU conditions
  • Develop and enhance client and internal documentation and training materials
  • Mentor and educate junior Implementation Specialists and Engineers on regulatory knowledge
  • Support Sales and Marketing presentations and events requiring regulatory expertise

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Ability to understand, interpret and communicate complex regulatory rules, including CRR / IFR in Europe
  • Experience in at least one main regulatory reporting area: capital, liquidity, leverage, balance sheet, credit risk, or market risk
  • At least 3 years of experience in regulatory reporting at a regulated firm or as a consultant
  • Deep banking product understanding, including Loans, Securities, and Derivatives
  • High proficiency in Excel, including lookups and pivot tables
  • Experience working with financial data, data mapping, and analysis
  • Previous experience in a client-facing role with external or internal stakeholders
  • Excellent stakeholder management and ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders
  • Excellent English verbal/listening and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and team working skills
  • Flexibility to work under pressure, changing work requirements, and strict deadlines
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Preferred: experience with regulatory software solutions
  • Preferred: experience working with engineering teams and writing business requirements
  • Preferred: previous experience working for a competitor in a similar position, such as Business Analyst
