About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Respond to telephone and email enquiries from prospective foster carers
  • Build relationships with prospective foster carers and support informed fostering decisions
  • Act as the front door to the Regional Fostering Hub
  • Ensure enquiries receive timely, professional responses and are handed over to local teams
  • Coordinate initial visits and appointments with fostering teams across the region
  • Maintain accurate records and manage enquiry information through the CRM system
  • Organise and attend fostering recruitment events, information sessions and promotional activities when required
  • Work with marketing colleagues and partners across 11 local authorities to raise awareness of fostering
  • Build relationships with stakeholders, partners and local communities
  • Support service development and continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and confidently engage with a wide range of people
  • Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience working with databases and IT systems
  • Understanding of outstanding customer service
  • Creative, proactive and committed to achieving positive outcomes
  • Ideally, experience of children’s social care, fostering, safeguarding, or working with families and carers
  • Ability to work 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
