About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support a large and diverse caseload of deaf children and young people across Norfolk

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Dedicated, experienced qualified teacher
  • Proven track record of working with others to improve outcomes for children and young people with SEND
  • Mandatory qualification as a Teacher of Deaf Children and Young People, or willingness to undertake this specialist qualification
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to think flexibly and respond confidently to changing priorities
  • Ability to use professional judgement to tailor support to individual needs
  • Creative, solution-focused practice
  • Effective partnership working with children and young people, families, educational settings, and colleagues across health and social care
