About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design solutions from initial concept through implementation
Analyze processes and complex system landscapes, and develop target operating models and solution architectures
Work with the development team to turn ideas into prototypes and robust, sustainable solutions
Design AI agents and assistant systems, integrate suitable tools and systems, and define quality criteria, evaluation approaches, and operating models
Use AI tools strategically for analysis, requirements gathering, solution design, documentation, and prototyping
Translate business objectives into technically feasible solutions and structure complex problem statements
Take ownership of the overall outcome and clearly communicate what AI models can deliver and where their limitations lie
Support clients through their AI transformation—from pilot implementation and scaling to sustainable adoption and measuring success
Collaborate with the development team, project management, business units, and IT
Consider governance, data protection, and regulatory requirements such as the EU AI Act

Requirements

What you’ll need

A completed degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration, natural sciences, or a comparable field—or extensive IT and AI experience as a career changer
Several years of experience at the intersection of business and IT, ideally gained in consulting, project-based work, or traditional software development projects
Practical experience with generative AI and LLM-based solutions, such as AI agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompting, or evaluation—ideally gained in real-world projects
Proficiency in business analysis methods, from requirements gathering and process analysis through to modeling
Ability to structure initially ambiguous and complex problem statements and develop robust solutions
Confident presence, strong facilitation skills, and audience-appropriate communication in German and English
