About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for application build, testing, and deployment
  • Assist in provisioning and maintaining cloud and on-premises infrastructure and perform routine operational tasks
  • Support containerized applications and orchestration platforms including Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift under senior guidance
  • Monitor systems, respond to incidents, escalate issues, and assist with troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Contribute to automation initiatives through scripting and Infrastructure as Code practices
  • Follow security, patching, vulnerability management, and compliance standards
  • Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures
  • Collaborate with Development, Quality, and Operations teams while developing DevOps and cloud engineering skills

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 0–1 year of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, System Administration, or a similar technical role
  • Basic understanding of Linux/Windows administration, CI/CD tools, scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python), Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
  • Familiarity with DevOps concepts, Infrastructure as Code, Databases (SQL, DB2, MongoDB, etc.), Kafka, Confluent, Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, and automation tools is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of security best practices, configuration management, and cloud infrastructure concepts
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills with the ability to work under pressure
  • Eagerness to learn modern cloud technologies, automation practices, and platform engineering methodologies
