Key responsibilities & impact

Drive data-informed decision-making across Canadian Operations
Work with business partners to distill data insights into conclusions and recommendations
Analyze data to identify trends, correlations, anomalies, and valuable business insights
Consult with business partners and recommend ways to improve outcomes using data insights
Convert data and information into business-relevant stories tailored to the audience
Design reports and visualizations to support ongoing data-driven decision-making and improve speed-to-decision
Maintain standards for analysis and reporting, including metric definitions, data governance, documentation, testing, and visualization techniques

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
2-3 years of experience with analytics technologies, including SQL or other data querying and manipulation languages
Expertise in Tableau or other BI development tools
Knowledge of statistical methods, software, and analysis
Proven track record in UX-focused data visualizations and decision enablement tools
Demonstrated experience evaluating data analyses and generating actionable insights
Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills for non-technical stakeholders
Ability to address complex business questions by sourcing, collecting, and synthesizing information from multiple sources
Ability to tailor communication to various audiences and provide impactful “so what” analysis
Bilingualism in French and English, oral and written, required for Quebec-based positions
Tableau certifications, insurance or financial services knowledge, and operations management experience are nice to have
