About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide technical governance for changes entering staging and production environments
  • Review application and infrastructure changes across the digital ecosystem
  • Identify code, architecture, environment, sequencing, and deployment dependencies
  • Partner with delivery teams to reduce implementation risk, production conflicts, and service disruptions
  • Govern digital ecosystem deployments to staging and production environments
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to reduce implementation failures and outages
  • Identify architecture-related conflicts and govern change records through implementation
  • Ensure clear contingency and back-out plans are in place
  • Lead technical change-review discussions and document risks, dependencies, ownership, sequencing, and go/no-go decisions
  • Prepare concise reports for senior leadership
  • Partner with stakeholders to keep disaster recovery plans current
  • Support and facilitate disaster recovery weekend activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong knowledge of business systems analysis principles and best practices
  • Strong communication and requirements-elicitation skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and present to large groups
  • Strong facilitation skills
  • Ability to manage a high volume of complex, concurrent changes
  • Strong leadership and relationship-management skills
  • Strong IT background
  • Ability to engage credibly with engineers, understand code delivery and deployment risks, and challenge technical implementation plans
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong reporting and data analysis skills
  • Participation in an on-call rotation, including after-hours support
  • Reliability Status Clearance required
  • Satisfactory completion of applicable background checks required before starting and during employment
