About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Client Success Specialists and Customer Relationship Executives
- Perform Salesforce tasks as applicable
- Assist with Rep Splits and Broker licensing
- Pursue, collect, and transfer Administrative Worksheets for new business groups
- Add and remove Contacts on policies
- Submit renewals for Risk Approval
- Create DocuSign Packages
- Submit cancellation requests
- Complete Sun Life Connect access requests
- Provide ISL Account Summaries/EORs as requested
- Assist with premium research
- Handle W-9 and Schedule A requests
- Send medical Plan Documents to Product
- Upload medical Plan Documents to the sold case tracker
- Send Contracts
- Perform ad hoc project work as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university during the time of internship
- Preferably in final year of undergraduate studies
- Undergraduate or graduate student in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Eligible to legally work in the United States
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the intern session
- Prior experience in a customer-facing role
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, and Adobe products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects with demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Highly motivated, organized, self-driven, focused, and attentive to detail
- Critical thinking skills
