About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and deliver Risk CoE reporting, dashboards and management information
- Analyze risk data from multiple sources to identify trends, themes and areas requiring further investigation
- Translate risk data into clear insights and commentary for leadership and business stakeholders
- Maintain and enhance reporting tools, datasets and processes
- Validate and reconcile data, investigate discrepancies and resolve data-quality and reporting issues with stakeholders
- Identify and implement opportunities to simplify and automate reporting
- Partner with Risk CoE and business stakeholders to understand emerging needs
- Provide ad hoc analysis, reporting expertise and practical solutions
- Support Canadian execution managers and second line of defense stakeholders in identifying, assessing and managing operational risks
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret complex information and identify meaningful insights
- Ability to reconcile and validate information across multiple data sources
- Ability to identify and resolve data-quality issues
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate across teams
- Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power Query
- Experience using SharePoint, Tableau, VBA/macros or comparable data and reporting tools
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on reporting accuracy
- Willingness to learn
- Experience in risk management or related functions such as compliance, operational risk or supplier risk management (preferred)
- Exposure to project, program or portfolio management and supporting cross-functional initiatives (preferred)
- Experience developing data models, dashboards and visualizations in business intelligence tools (preferred)
- Experience with process improvement, reporting automation or process redesign (preferred)
