About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead management reporting, forecasting, and business and strategic planning and analysis for the Wealth distribution channel within Retail Advice & Solutions
- Oversee complete, accurate, and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and income reporting
- Develop RA&S Wealth Quarterly Business Review packages and explain current and forecasted income drivers
- Lead business and strategic planning and forecasting processes and influence outcomes with business partners and senior leaders
- Provide leadership and support for strategic projects, initiatives, and M&A activity
- Serve as point person for discussions with internal partners about sales data
- Support other Wealth reporting deliverables as required
- Build relationships with senior business partners, Finance leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation to improve forecast accuracy and efficiency
- Lead and mentor a senior analyst
Requirements
What you’ll need- Business and product knowledge and experience related to Wealth and/or the financial services industry
- 7+ years of experience in Finance, Planning, Performance Management, Business Analytics, or a related field
- Degree in Business, Finance, or similar
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Experience with financial reporting tools: Longview, Workiva, and SAP
- Excellent relationship management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong leadership abilities
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and meet tight deadlines while optimizing work processes
- Ability to handle conflicting priorities in a dynamic and changing environment
- Bilingualism in French and English, oral and written, required for Quebec positions
