About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the Salary Continuance program, processes and systems
  • Resolve complex disability-related absence inquiries and escalate as needed
  • Provide guidance to employees on disability absence processes, timelines, documentation and responsibilities
  • Administer Salary Continuance and disability-related absences across intake, documentation, case monitoring, follow-up, return-to-work, payroll status changes and LTD transitions
  • Identify opportunities to improve audit controls, collaboration, employee experience, escalation practices and workflows
  • Participate in process reviews and workstreams; document findings and recommendations
  • Partner with HR stakeholders to develop, test and implement improvements
  • Update process documentation, communication templates, tools and training materials
  • Coordinate with Payroll, Benefits, Disability Case Managers, Workplace Accommodations, Employee Relations and HR partners
  • Maintain employee data in HR systems and manage audits, reporting and data quality activities
  • Ensure compliance with program booklets, benefits contracts, process flows, data privacy requirements and applicable laws
