About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee the enterprise Third Party Risk Management Policy, Operating Guideline, and supporting procedures
  • Provide governance, oversight, and guidance as a second line of defence role
  • Assist the Director with maintenance and enhancement of the TPRM program
  • Update the TPRM Policy and Enterprise Operating Guideline
  • Monitor compliance with the TPRM Policy
  • Track and report Policy Non-Compliances and Key Risk Indicators
  • Aggregate, analyze and challenge third-party data across Business Groups
  • Support evaluation of the enterprise third-party risk profile
  • Support regulatory requirements and third-party risk data collection exercises
  • Develop, maintain and deliver training to Business Group Risk Office teams and stakeholders
  • Provide guidance on adherence to the TPRM Policy and Enterprise Operating Guideline
  • Review Business Group process documents for alignment, identifying gaps and recommendations
  • Support innovation, transformation, process enhancement and AI-enabled TPRM initiatives
  • Work with Business Group Risk Office teams and stakeholders to implement and adopt program changes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of risk management experience
  • 2+ years of experience supporting TPRM Programs, controls and processes
  • Experience ideally within a major Federally Regulated Financial Institution
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, or another relevant field and/or certification
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to influence and communicate complex concepts to a diverse audience
  • Proactive and adaptable mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving industry and organization
  • Well-developed writing and visual presentation skills
  • Ability to articulate analytics results, options, recommendations and reporting
  • Experience developing strong working relationships with cross-functional business areas and multi-stakeholder environments
  • Ability to drive execution of key deliverables and facilitate risk management within the Three Lines of Defense model
  • Understanding of risk domains pertaining to third-party risk management is advantageous
