About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Research and recommend venues, gifting, entertainment, and guest speaker options for specific events
  • Support event registration
  • Assist with Cvent reporting, data, and analytics to measure event ROI
  • Support the hotel contract database for Toronto, Waterloo, and Montreal
  • Create floor plans, name badges, welcome packages, and special gifts
  • Research new vendors and services for recommended partners
  • Detail business partner meeting minutes for assigned events
  • Provide attendee coordination support
  • Support internal, employee-facing, and client-facing onsite, offsite, and virtual events
  • Collaborate with Event Producing, Strategy and Operations, and other Events and Experiences teams to deliver partner events

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Student with a May 2026 or later graduation date
  • Interest, exposure, or education in Events Management
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PPT)
  • Ability to build strong business relationships to develop and execute creative and innovative events
  • Knowledge of meeting and event planning and virtual event and meeting management
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to work in a team environment
  • Experience with Event Management Tools
  • Previous work experience in events is an asset
