About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advance enabling technologies for Automation, Data & Analytics, DevOps, APIs, and Digital Assets within Network Services and business partners
- Help develop and deploy automation and analytical solutions, data extraction tools, visualizations, dashboards, and machine learning models
- Promote analytics throughout DBTS
- Collaborate with AACoE peers and ENS stakeholders to improve processes and increase efficiency
- Deliver effective and secure analytics and automation solutions
- Analyze data and communicate reports, transforming findings into actionable insights
- Support stakeholders in making informed business decisions
- Mentor technicians and strengthen their problem-solving skills
- Develop problem strategies and apply advanced problem management techniques
- Track and report problems and contribute to process-improvement feedback loops
- Prepare and present service-level updates and status reports on projects, network statistics, budgets, and related matters
Requirements
What you’ll need- Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent
- Progressive network and information technology, data extraction, data visualization and analysis experience
- Practical, hands-on coding experience using one or more of Python, R, C++, Java, or Perl
- Knowledge of Network Programmability and integration with YANG, YAML, XML, JSON, NETCONF, and RESTCONF
- April 2027 or later graduation date
- Ability to thrive in an Agile and fast-paced environment and remain calm in high-risk, high-pressure situations
- Experience developing and maintaining comprehensive network technical documentation
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and monitoring systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with other teams
- Programming, coding, API (RESTful/SOAP), and automation experience noted as nice to have
