About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Meet with stakeholders to understand workflows, pain points, and automation opportunities
  • Document requirements, personas, and user stories for workflow automation
  • Map current-state and future-state processes
  • Build and test automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate, ServiceNow automation, or similar tools
  • Create reusable templates and best-practice automation patterns
  • Follow development and change management standards
  • Develop and execute test cases to validate automation behaviour
  • Identify, log, and troubleshoot defects
  • Work with developers and subject-matter experts to ensure solutions meet requirements
  • Create workflow documentation, SOPs, and reference guides
  • Assist in reporting automation or dashboard development
  • Maintain version control of workflow assets
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including standups, planning, demos, and retrospectives
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, analysts, and automation developers
  • Escalate blockers early and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Present deliverables to leaders and stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Tech Management, Math, or a related field
  • Strong interest in process automation and workflow design
  • Curiosity to learn about delivery processes
  • Comfort working with Microsoft Power Automate, Power Platform, ServiceNow, or similar tools
  • Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to document processes, test workflows, and validate results
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Curiosity, initiative, and desire to learn new tools and technologies
  • Graduation date of April 2027 or later
  • Experience with low-code/no-code tools is an asset
  • Familiarity with APIs, connectors, data integrations, and AI frameworks is an asset
  • Understanding of Agile practices is an asset
  • Experience with Miro, Lucid, or Visio is an asset
  • Basic scripting in Python or JavaScript is an asset
