About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Map finance processes with accounting and FP&A teams and identify opportunities for AI and automation
  • Build, test, and deploy agents and automations on finance systems such as NetSuite and the data warehouse
  • Use APIs and integration tools to connect systems
  • Design workflows with human review points, logging, audit trails, access limits, and clear ownership
  • Evaluate build, buy, and partner options, including vendors and consultants
  • Measure hours saved, error rates, and close time, and report results regularly
  • Train finance team members to use and supervise tools
  • Document each workflow
  • Collaborate with IT, Security, and Data on data access, privacy, and model risk

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years building automation or AI solutions in a business setting, ideally with finance or accounting workflows
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs and agent frameworks, prompt and evaluation design, and integrating them with business systems through APIs
  • Strong Python or similar, and comfort with SQL and data pipelines
  • Good understanding of finance processes (close, reconciliations, AP and AR) and of why controls and auditability matter
  • Ability to explain technical choices to accountants and finance leaders
  • NetSuite or other ERP integration experience preferred
  • SOX or ITGC familiarity preferred
  • Fintech background preferred
