About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the finance systems roadmap and architecture, including ERP, procurement, T&E, integrations and data flows
- Lead the NetSuite implementation for the Israeli subsidiary, including subsidiary setup, intercompany, multi-currency and local statutory requirements
- Work with an implementation partner on the Israeli NetSuite rollout
- Select and implement a procurement platform and a T&E and spend solution
- Decide build versus buy for finance applications
- Replace Excel-based reconciliations, allocations, close checklists and reporting packs with governed, auditable automation
- Partner with or hire an AI Specialist, Finance to identify appropriate uses for agents and automation
- Establish guardrails including human approval points, audit trails and access controls
- Design and maintain system-level controls with SOX readiness in mind
- Manage segregation of duties, access reviews, change management and documentation for internal and external auditors
- Manage vendors and implementation partners, budgets and timelines
- Partner with Accounting, FP&A, IT, Security, Data and other teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years in finance, accounting or finance systems
- At least 5 years leading ERP and finance system implementations
- Hands-on NetSuite experience, including a multi-subsidiary or multi-currency rollout
- Experience with Zip, Coupa, Ramp, Brex or similar preferred
- Strong accounting foundation
- CPA or equivalent preferred
- Experience with SOX or IPO readiness, or working with external auditors on ITGC and application controls
- Experience automating finance workflows using scripting, low-code, integration platforms, or AI tools
- Judgment to know when not to automate
- Comfortable working across US and Israel time zones
- Fintech or consumer lending background preferred
- Experience building a finance systems team from scratch preferred
