About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead financial strategy for existing and new products, pricing, and business lines
  • Evaluate ROI and payback for investments and expansion opportunities
  • Synthesize complex financial data into insights for board decks, fundraising materials, and leadership updates
  • Own finance partnerships for GTM, Merchant, or Customer teams
  • Build scalable, driver-based revenue models that enhance visibility and accountability
  • Support M&A, new markets, and investment decisions as needed
  • Advance data and tooling infrastructure to unlock strategic insights and scale strategic finance
  • Serve as a critical thought partner to senior leadership
  • Drive strategic planning, capital allocation, pricing analysis, and new market evaluations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • 6–8 years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, Consulting, or Private Equity
  • Expert at financial modeling, scenario analysis, and distilling insights from large data sets
  • Adept at crafting C-level narratives using Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with business intelligence tools is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional projects and influence without authority
  • Deep understanding of balance sheet lending and consumer credit dynamics, required
  • MBA, CPA, CFA is often preferred
