About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and expand a portfolio of Financial Services accounts
  • Meet annualized bookings targets and maximize Net Revenue Retention and account profitability
  • Lead commercial strategy and negotiations
  • Create SOWs, renewals, and MSA amendments with legal and delivery teams
  • Identify expansion opportunities across data engineering, advanced analytics, ML/AI, and cloud transformation
  • Coordinate with AWS, Azure, and Databricks partners
  • Serve as the ultimate point of accountability for client concerns and resolve escalations
  • Govern engagement scope, budget, timelines, and dependencies
  • Monitor and document value creation and translate technical wins into customer stories and business outcomes
  • Track delivery team morale and eNPS, provide feedback, and motivate the team
  • Build relationships with C-level executives and senior business stakeholders
  • Lead annual and quarterly account planning
  • Organize and facilitate Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Act as strategic Farmer and Engagement Lead for critical Financial Services accounts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of experience in strategic account ownership, Client Principal, or Engagement Lead roles within consulting or technology services
  • Deep experience serving the Financial Services vertical, including banking, insurance, asset management, or payments
  • Ability to discuss security, compliance, and risk constraints specific to Financial Services
  • Proven PMO experience or background as an Engagement Manager is strongly preferred
  • Experience with Databricks or similar modern data platforms
  • Ability to engage confidently with client technical leaders and translate complex technology into business value
  • Strong executive presence and consultative selling skills
  • Proven track record of growing enterprise accounts with direct accountability for multi-million-dollar revenue targets
  • Ability to build a function in a high-growth environment and work in ambiguity
  • Willingness to be strategic and hands-on
  • Ability to align cross-functional Delivery, Sales, and Solutions teams around clear outcomes
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred; MBA or equivalent preferred
  • Willing and able to travel up to 50%
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
