About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support new and existing customers with their data engineering needs
Guide customers in making technical decisions to achieve their goals
Work across multiple customer accounts and track and report progress
Design, build, and operationalize complex data solutions
Fix issues, apply transformations, and recommend data cleansing and quality solutions
Analyze data sources and recommend their inclusion in analytical processes
Incorporate data governance, data security, and data quality practices
Collaborate across teams to support delivery and educate end users on data products and analytic environments
Perform data and system analysis, assessment, and resolution for defects and incidents
Test data movement, transformation code, and data components

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of related experience in data engineering and data product development
Experience with one or more of: Spark, Hadoop, Kafka; pandas, scikit-learn, HPO; SQL, OLTP/OLAP/DSS
Solid understanding of the end-to-end data analytics workflow
Demonstrated domain expertise and in-depth knowledge of immediate systems worked on
Proven problem-solving and debugging skills
Strong English verbal and written communication skills
Intermediate leadership skills and proven self-motivation in identifying personal growth opportunities
Excellent time management and prioritization skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or an Engineering-related field
Nice to have: knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP
Nice to have: Databricks data engineering or machine learning certification
