About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary daily contact for consumer tech and lifestyle clients
  • Manage projects from concept to completion and keep internal teams motivated and on-task
  • Execute 360-degree communications strategies spanning tech reviews, lifestyle features, and creator-led social content
  • Leverage tech, business, and lifestyle media contacts to secure coverage
  • Translate hardware specifications into stories for trade and consumer outlets
  • Identify and manage influencer and brand-partner opportunities
  • Brief talent to create authentic content aligned with client KPIs
  • Brainstorm and execute out-of-the-box PR angles
  • Create press releases, product launch kits, social-first pitches, and executive briefing notes
  • Mentor and teach junior team members
  • Manage day-to-day accounts independently and partner with senior leadership on larger global-client strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5–6 years of experience in PR/Communications, specifically focused on consumer hardware, apps, and gaming
  • At least 1 year of experience managing client teams with direct oversight
  • Experience project-managing complex accounts
  • Genuine interest and knowledge of consumer technology, lifestyle, apps, gaming, and relevant media
  • Ability to connect real-time trends on platforms like X to client business implications
  • Fast, persuasive writing and strong verbal communication
  • Ability to build trust with clients and media
  • Strong organizational skills and precision managing results reporting, budget trackers, and complex launch timelines
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends when necessary
  • Willingness to travel when necessary
