Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with business leaders to understand strategic objectives, challenges, and opportunities and translate them into analytical questions
Analyze complex financial, operational, and strategic problems and develop actionable recommendations
Identify key business-performance drivers and meaningful insights from complex datasets
Develop and maintain financial, operational, profitability, and decision-support models
Source, combine, transform, validate, and analyze data using SQL, Excel, Snowflake, dbt, Python, and other tools
Perform company, regional, market, customer, and business-level analyses to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers
Develop executive-ready presentations and communicate findings, recommendations, and business implications
Design scalable analytical tools, datasets, and reporting solutions
Improve business processes, KPIs, reports, dashboards, and analytical models
Manage medium to large analytical projects with minimal oversight
Provide analytical guidance to other analysts and contribute to team capabilities and best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Analytics, Accounting, or a related field preferred
6+ years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, strategic analysis, FP&A, analytics, consulting, or a related discipline
Exceptional business acumen and understanding of financial and operational business drivers
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including structuring ambiguous business questions and developing analytical approaches
Ability to identify relationships, trends, and business drivers in complex information and translate findings into recommendations
Advanced Excel skills and experience developing analytical models and performing complex analysis
Strong SQL proficiency, including independently sourcing, joining, transforming, and analyzing data
Experience with, or ability to quickly learn, Snowflake, dbt, Git/GitHub, and Python
Strong PowerPoint and presentation development skills
Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar business intelligence and data visualization platforms
Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
Strong project management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently with limited supervision and collaborate across Finance, Operations, Sales, and other functions
High attention to detail and focus on data accuracy and analytical integrity
Preferred experience in FP&A, corporate strategy, pricing, profitability analysis, operations finance, or strategic decision support
Preferred experience developing business cases, profitability models, forecasts, dashboards, KPIs, management reporting, or automated decision-support tools
Preferred experience presenting analyses or recommendations to senior or executive leadership
