- Work under the Senior Engineering & Maintenance Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years’ experience in an electrical and/or controls engineering field
- Preferred bachelor’s in electrical engineering
- Strong electrical aptitude and experience with low voltage circuitry (480V)
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Computer literacy; preference for SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong technical knowledge in maintenance crafts and understanding of tools and various equipment
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compliance with standard operating procedures and legal requirements, including health and safety, fire protection, environmental, quality, security, and continuous improvement programs
- Union environment experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts and weekends as needed
- Ability to access all plant areas, including climbing ladders and stairs
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Valid driver's license for driving to remote plants
- Ability to walk moderate distances up to one mile
- Ability to tolerate extreme heat and cold for short periods
- Adequate vision to take field measurements, use computers, and read drawings and maps
