About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure Supabase participates in current conversations through direct-to-audience new media
- Own and execute Supabase’s new media strategy
- Run and grow Supabase’s X and LinkedIn accounts hands-on
- Build founders’ and team members’ accounts, including ghostwriting in their voices
- Explore and use unconventional channels and formats
- Book cofounders on prominent shows, podcasts, and YouTube channels in the space
- Collaborate directly with DevRel and the PMM team on launches and Select
- Manage communications around incidents, funding, and other high-stakes moments
- Serve as a calm, credible, technically fluent communications voice during crises
Requirements
What you’ll need- Excellent writer with a distinctive voice
- Strong posting skills as yourself and ghostwriting skills for others
- Track record of growing accounts, ideally for a technical audience
- Unconventional thinking and judgment about when to push an opinion
- Experience handling serious moments such as incidents, funding, and press
- Calm, credible, and technically fluent communication during high-stakes moments
- High agency
- Experience working in an async and/or remote environment
- Open-source contributions are invited to be shared
- Must provide a GitHub profile and LinkedIn profile
- Must be over the age of 18
- Must provide passport country and country of residence
