About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the product surface area for Supabase Auth, including authentication, authorization, identity management, social login, passkeys, MFA, enterprise SSO, OAuth 2.1, auth hooks, organizations, and multi-tenant applications
- Collaborate with customers ranging from indie developers and startups to SaaS teams and enterprises
- Own problem statements and solution rationale behind the Auth roadmap
- Work with Engineering and Design to shape the developer experience
- Define how Auth works for AI agents that sign users up, act on their behalf, and call APIs
- Use data to understand feature usage, user success, user friction, and prioritization
- Keep Engineering, Design, and GTM aligned on the product plan and priorities
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of Product Management experience on developer tools, or equivalent depth as an ex-founder
- Experience shipping standards-based authentication or identity products
- Experience with OAuth/OIDC, SAML, SCIM, sessions, or token design
- Ability to work with corporate buyers and developers
- Comfortable with Postgres and familiar with row-level security
- Comfortable working asynchronously and making decisions in writing
