About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the product surface area developers use to build live, collaborative, and event-driven apps on Supabase Realtime
Collaborate with customers ranging from indie developers to startups and enterprise teams
Own problem statements and solution rationale for the Realtime roadmap
Work with Engineering and Design to shape the developer experience
Shape Realtime's evolution for future application experiences, including AI applications and integration with other Supabase products
Own Realtime packaging and pricing with Pricing, Finance, and Billing
Analyze product data to understand feature usage, friction points, and priorities
Keep Engineering, Design, and GTM aligned on roadmap plans and sequencing

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of Product Management experience on developer tools, or equivalent depth as an ex-founder
Experience owning an app development platform, feature, or framework where real-time was core to the developer experience
Ability to query and clean product data independently
Comfortable with Postgres and familiar with logical replication
Comfortable working asynchronously and making decisions in writing
Nuanced understanding of full-stack application development
Understanding of existing and emerging real-time and sync patterns
