About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned employee benefits clients
  • Manage client inquiries related to benefits, eligibility, enrollment, billing, claims, and coverage questions
  • Process policy changes, enrollments, terminations, reinstatements, and other service requests
  • Partner with carriers and vendors to resolve client issues and meet service expectations
  • Support renewals by gathering information, preparing materials, coordinating timelines, and assisting with client presentations
  • Review plan documents, applications, and policy information for accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain accurate client records, documentation, activities, and communications in agency management systems
  • Assist with open enrollment preparation, employee communications, and client meetings
  • Identify opportunities to enhance client relationships through proactive service, education, and additional coverage solutions
  • Collaborate with Producers, Account Executives, carriers, and internal teams to support client retention and growth goals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of Employee Benefits account management or client service experience preferred
  • Experience working within an insurance agency, brokerage, carrier, or benefits consulting environment
  • Active Life & Health Insurance License preferred (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong understanding of group benefits products including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefits
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and client needs in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on building relationships and solving problems
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Comfortable learning and utilizing technology platforms and agency management systems
  • Positive, team-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding client experiences
