About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the sourcing/recruitment process for skilled trades roles: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates through job boards, referrals, social media, and networking
Partner with account managers and leadership to understand client staffing needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions
Communicate regularly with candidates to ensure a positive interview experience
Accurately maintain candidate data, employee files, and compliance requirements
Occasionally work evenings or weekends to meet urgent staffing deadlines
Source, interview, and identify skilled trades talent such as electricians, welders, and plumbers for high-profile skilled trades accounts

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years recruiting skilled trades / construction roles (not light industrial/manufacturing)
Heavy sourcing skills; strong hunter-mentality
Strong organizational skills with the ability to stay on top of important details
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to work well under pressure, addressing regular high-demand requests and needs quickly
Ability to work 40+ hours per week, with occasional evenings/weekends as needed
