About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a collaborating physician for NPs practicing within Superpower’s care model
- Review and co-sign charts as required by state regulations
- Participate in periodic team meetings to guide clinical strategy
- Maintain compliance with state and federal practice standards
- Provide clinical oversight, mentorship, and collaboration with advanced practice providers
- Support Superpower’s mission to advance preventative and longevity-focused medicine
Requirements
What you’ll need- MD/DO
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or related specialty
- Active, unrestricted medical license in all 50 states + DC
- Previous experience collaborating with NPs preferred
- Strong interest in functional medicine, preventative medicine, longevity, and patient-centered care
- Experience prescribing and managing GLP-1s, peptides, and hormone therapies, including TRT
- Comfortable with evidence-based off-label prescribing where clinically appropriate
- Excellent communication and mentorship skills
- Comfortable working in a tech-enabled, fast-moving startup environment
