About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Pioneer and scale the digital auction vertical across the UAE market
- Serve as the primary subject-matter expert on the UAE auction and wholesale asset landscape
- Identify, map, and execute partner acquisition and onboarding for auction authorities, government contractors, asset liquidation firms, salvage yards, and wholesale liquidators
- Coach auctioneers, government partners, and wholesale liquidators on bringing live bidding online, optimizing reserve pricing, live video cataloging, and live host pacing
- Manage day-to-day marketplace operations and support the seller portfolio
- Collaborate with internal product, legal, and compliance teams on auction workflows and buyer verification
- Lead category growth and community-building initiatives, including live auction events, asset bidding shows, wholesale clearance drives, and targeted marketing campaigns
- Maintain an active community and industry presence at regional asset sales and commercial equipment showcases
- Measure performance, own category KPIs and the P&L, and iterate operational strategies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Full professional fluency in English
- Arabic fluency preferred; strong Arabic is highly advantageous for government/auction entity interactions
- 3+ years of experience in commercial auctions, wholesale liquidations, asset management, or B2B re-commerce in the UAE market
- Comprehensive industry literacy, including auction laws, valuation methodologies, reserve pricing, bidding mechanics, and key government/institutional stakeholders
- Established, warm relationships with commercial auction houses, government asset liquidation departments, corporate fleet owners, or major salvage/wholesale entities in the UAE
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage complex sales cycles and regulatory operational requirements
- Prior experience working directly with or for major UAE auction houses or government asset disposal departments
- Prior experience bringing traditional offline auction formats into digital live-streaming marketplace environments
- Personal history managing live digital auctions or operating within B2B surplus marketplaces
