About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide ethical, evidence-based psychotherapy to individuals and, depending on experience, children, adolescents, and couples
Maintain timely and accurate documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries
Bring cases to weekly supervision, especially clients with safety concerns, disengaged clients, and clients who frequently cancel or no-show
Communicate professionally with clients, staff, and supervisor
Schedule 15 to 16 appointments weekly to target 12 billable sessions
Build toward full-time clinical work

Requirements

What you’ll need

Active New York State LMSW license
New York State resident
Private, HIPAA-compliant workspace
Stable internet connection
Working webcam and audio setup
Consistent weekly availability to schedule 15 to 16 client appointments
Comfortable with telehealth platforms and electronic health records
Strong organization and time management
Evening availability at 4:00 PM or later strongly preferred
Experience with clients of all ages, including minors, strongly preferred
Couples counseling experience or strong interest in couples work strongly preferred
