About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and regression test suites
- Perform exploratory, functional, regression, integration, and API testing across products and services
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Developers during requirement refinement, sprint planning, and release validation
- Contribute to automated testing initiatives and improve overall test coverage
- Validate software behavior across multiple browsers, devices, and environments
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement related to product quality and release processes
- Advocate for quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance or quality engineering
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, defect lifecycles, and release processes
- Experience testing modern web applications, APIs, and integrated systems
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks and automated regression testing concepts
- Working knowledge of Jira, GitHub/GitLab, Postman, browser developer tools, and SQL
- Understanding of HTTP requests, REST APIs, and client/server application behavior
- Ability to investigate issues, reproduce bugs, and clearly communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in an Agile development environment
- Curiosity, critical thinking, and a proactive approach to improving product quality
- Experience with automated UI testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
- Experience validating payment flows, transactional systems, or third-party integrations
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment environments
