About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and lead Surfshark’s presence across UGC platforms, primarily Reddit
Define Surfshark’s strategy for community-led spaces
Own hands-on execution of the community strategy
Audit how Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Gemini characterize the brand
Define goals and strategy for Reddit and other high-authority platforms to shape brand sentiment and organic visibility
Dive into Reddit threads and online communities and actively participate in conversations
Evaluate and implement monitoring and automation tools to improve efficiency and measurability

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong hands-on experience with Reddit, including moderation, community building, or brand participation
Understanding of how UGC platforms influence brand reputation
High-level strategic judgment on when to engage and how to maintain credibility in sensitive spaces
Fluent English with ability to adapt writing style to platform-specific norms
Comfort balancing high-level strategy with daily execution in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with other community and/or authority publishing platforms is a bonus
Background in cybersecurity or technology industry is a bonus
