About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver assigned energy and carbon projects on time and to agreed quality standards
- Manage own schedule and tasks, including site work and reporting
- Escalate risks and issues appropriately
- Produce analysis, insights, recommendations, and clear deliverables
- Apply regulatory and voluntary frameworks accurately
- Conduct energy and carbon audits and reports
- Build positive working relationships with clients
- Communicate findings clearly and professionally
- Act as a reliable client point of contact under supervision
- Collaborate within project teams and support peers
- Contribute ideas for service and product improvement
- Apply service and product tools and methodologies consistently

Requirements
What you’ll need- Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience in a technical, environmental, sustainability-related or consultative discipline
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Experience analysing and interpreting large, complex datasets
- Demonstrable experience in energy and/or water and carbon management
- Experience identifying energy and carbon savings opportunities
- Experience presenting findings in reports and recommendations
- Working knowledge of UK energy and carbon regulation and frameworks
- Experience working in a business-to-business consultancy environment
- Experience acting as a trusted advisor to clients
- Strong project management skills
- Experience delivering multiple projects to agreed quality, timescale, and budget
- Ability to work independently across a portfolio of projects
- Ability to manage priorities effectively
- Strong problem-solving ability, professionalism, and commitment to high-quality service delivery
- Experience conducting ESOS surveys and reporting
