About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and deploy full stack applications using React and Node.js
Build and maintain robust, scalable RESTful APIs and backend services
Develop responsive front-end UIs integrated with system APIs
Ensure code follows industry best practices, coding standards, and documentation requirements
Write and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using tools such as Jest and Playwright
Collaborate with Product, Design, and DevOps teams
Architect and implement secure, performant systems using modern DevSecOps practices
Refactor and modernize legacy systems while maintaining business continuity
Stay current with web technologies, AI-assisted development tools, and industry trends
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives within an Agile team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
Proven experience with Node.js and React in building production-grade applications
Proficiency in HTML/CSS/JavaScript
Experience with CSS preprocessors such as SCSS/LESS
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
Knowledge of modern DevOps and CI/CD practices
Knowledge of cloud-native development and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with data layers such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis
Strong understanding of software architecture, SOLID principles, and security best practices
Familiarity with observability tools such as OpenTelemetry and Prometheus and logging frameworks
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership of features from design to deployment
GraphQL experience is a plus
Experience integrating or utilizing AI/ML tools such as GitHub Copilot and OpenAI API is a plus
